Beta terms of use

These terms apply when you access or use the FlyPath website, free beta, mission planner, and export tools operated by Dronnix Inc., 3608 33 St NW, Calgary, Alberta T2L 2A6, Canada (“Dronnix”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the beta, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Beta service

FlyPath is provided as a free beta for evaluation and feedback. Features may change, be interrupted, contain errors, or be removed. We may introduce limits or paid plans later, but we will not charge you without clearly presenting the applicable price and obtaining your agreement.

Your account and acceptable use

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and activity performed through your account. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its security, upload unlawful content, attempt unauthorized access, or use FlyPath in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.

Flight safety and regulatory responsibility

FlyPath is a planning aid, not flight authorization or a substitute for pilot judgment. You are solely responsible for verifying every boundary, waypoint, altitude, speed, camera action, finish action, controller-loss action, and generated file before flight. You must confirm aircraft, controller, application, and firmware compatibility; comply with airspace, privacy, property, and aviation rules; assess weather and site conditions; maintain safe battery reserves; and conduct conservative tests before operational use.

Do not fly a generated mission if any route or setting is unclear, unsafe, incompatible, or inconsistent with current site conditions or applicable requirements.

Your content

You retain rights in mission boundaries, settings, feedback, and other content you submit. You give us permission to host, process, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve FlyPath. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use.

Software and intellectual property

FlyPath branding, website content, and service design belong to Dronnix or their respective licensors. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. The FlyPath project source is released under the GNU General Public License v3; these service terms do not replace open-source license rights.

Maps and third-party data

The planner displays basemaps, satellite imagery, place search, and elevation data supplied by third parties, including Esri, OpenStreetMap contributors, and Komoot. Your use of that material is also subject to those providers’ own terms and attribution requirements. We do not warrant the accuracy or currency of third-party imagery or elevation data, and it must not be treated as a survey-grade or obstacle-complete source.

Availability and disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, error-free output, aircraft compatibility, regulatory compliance, or fitness for a particular mission. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Dronnix is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the beta or a generated mission. Nothing in these terms limits liability where limitation is prohibited, including liability for intentional misconduct or other non-excludable responsibility.

Indemnity

You are the remote pilot in command for every flight you conduct. To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Dronnix against third-party claims, damages, fines, and reasonable costs arising from a flight you conducted, including property damage, personal injury, and regulatory penalties, except to the extent the claim results from our intentional misconduct or from responsibility that cannot legally be transferred.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings locally.

Suspension, termination, and changes

You may stop using FlyPath at any time. We may restrict access to protect users, the service, or third parties; respond to misuse; or comply with law. If your account is closed, we delete your saved missions and account data within 30 days, except where we must keep records to meet a legal obligation. Export anything you need before closing your account. We may update these terms as the beta changes. Material updates will be presented with reasonable notice where required.
